Ra Parker is a Program Manager at RECLAIM, where she supports the RISE: Place-Based Intervention Program, set to support a peer counseling team focused on the safety and well-being of community members impacted by gun violence and trauma. Building on 5 years of experience in public health gives her the skill set necessary to understand the urgent needs surrounding providing effective resources and access to vulnerable community members. Additionally, this public health background has educated her in being a strong leader versed in program systems. Sasha has a B.A. in Integrative Psychology, is actively continuing her education in Grad school with an aim towards becoming a Clinical Psychologist as a means to continue being a strong community resource through mental health work. She is passionate about being of service and taking progressive steps towards reimagining care systems to better support, uplift, and hold space for those seeking safety, stability, and reliable community-based care resources.
